Applicant Rent Café is an online portal that allows you to:

Apply for open waitlists for Public Housing and Housing Choice Vouchers.

Review your waitlist status.

Update your address and contact information without calling or visiting the LCHA office.

Housing Choice Voucher (HCV): Closed – Not accepting applications.

Public Housing: Closed – Not accepting applications. Open - accepting applications.

If you have applied to an LCHA waitlist or are currently on a waitlist, you should have received a one-time registration code by mail.

The registration code format is: 17687-T + your applicant code.

A registration code is a one-time code used to register in the Applicant Portal.

If you did not receive a code, call our main line at 870-552-3554 and follow the prompts for your program (Public Housing or HCV).

You are not currently on any waitlists. You can apply only for Public Housing when the list is open.

Click “I do not have a registration code” to create a new account and complete your application.

Register as if you don’t have one. If you do, the system will display it. Then create your account using the “I have a registration code” option.

A valid email address is required. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to create one.

  • Click Register Here.
  • Complete all required fields marked with an asterisk (*).
  • Verify you are not a robot using CAPTCHA.
  • Click Submit.

If your address changes while you are on the waiting list, you must send our office a written statement with your new address. It is important that we have your correct mailing address. Our agency is not responsible for undelivered mail.

If you have any changes in your income or family composition, you must notify our office in writing of the changes. These changes may affect your placement on the waiting list.
